We are excited to highlight Mr. Weisman! He is one of our highly respected teachers whose talents extend far beyond music! Mr Weisman’s love for music started during his high school years and all through college he pursued a career in teaching.
Mr. Weisman also described that, in high school, he did not have his life figured out. He mentioned not being a good student through his high school years, which shows anyone who reads this that you don’t have to have everything figured out in the beginning but never forget your end goal and make sure you stay on task to meet those goals; these are life lessons that Mr. Weisman wanted to know when he was in those times of need, and therefore this should be motivation enough for anyone who is also confused and aimless.
Mr. Weisman’s profound passion for music does not simply begin and end in the classroom, where he teaches a wide range of music classes (all the while trying his best to keep them engaged in music especially with his beginner classes). Mr. Weisman spoke about trying his best to keep students engaged and that a plus would be students returning to music in mixed or show choir.
In addition to his role as a teacher at Bryant high school he also is in charge of the Bryant morning announcements!
Another topic that was discussed with Mr Weisman was about his advice to our Bryant students and this is what he had to say: To always be in the pursuit of happiness when you’re at your all time low, you have people to lift you up and in turn you lift them up. And always plan ahead, have your goals in mind and lastly surround yourself with good people.
In conclusion Mr. Weisman is a dedicated teacher committed to the future of our Bryant students with his creativity and inspiration.
