On November 16, 2024, W.C. Bryant celebrates the fifth annual Turkey Trot! Many of Bryant’s students, families, and staff came together to commemorate this school event in preparation for Thanksgiving season. This special occasion was filled with activity, rewards, feasts, and fun!

Many enjoyed actively participating in the Turkey Trot from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students, staff, and family engaged in the 3.1 mile run in the school field. Most were excited to compete in the run, in which winners among boys, girls, and staff were selected and given awards based on who ran within the shortest amount of time.

From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m, the Bryant community began a grand feast with many dishes from diverse cultural cuisines. Families and staff not only took memorable photos to celebrate this event, but also partook in a fun raffle with Thanksgiving-themed prizes–including a whole turkey!

Overall, this was a wonderful way to form a large social gathering with members of our school community for Thanksgiving season; it taught us the importance of togetherness and gratefulness for friends and family. We hope that this school tradition continues and strengthens partnerships within our students and faculty.
