What is SYEP?

Summer Youth Employment Program 14-24 NYC youth, offering the youth for paid-work experience, career exploration during summer!

What does it offer?

Career exploration, based on your interests and your new interests. Make a difference in your community, could be volunteering, project based activities. Helps the youth gain work experience and  develop new skills.

Who can apply?

• Must reside within the 5 boroughs of New York city!
• Be legally allowed to work.
• At least 14 and nomolder than 24.

What do you need to apply?

• Proof of identity.
• Social security card, signed.
• Proof of age (birth certificate, photo ID, passport)
• Proof of address (utility bill, current lease, official mail, gov. agency)
• Proof of employment authorization (report card from last 6 months, school transcript, ID card)
• Proof of working papers (if you’re 16 or 17 years old)
• Proof of disability.
