The Senior Awards is one of the school events that happens at Bryant, where seniors are awarded based on their academic, talent and scholarly behaviors. The event started at 6pm and ended near 8pm. All the awardees had to wait in the cafeteria, where they had to leave their stuff.
Students were then called into lines by staff members and brought into the auditorium. Their placement in the auditorium helped them get their awards easier. Then the parents were already waiting in the auditorium, then as the students walked inside, they were welcomed with cheers from the audience.
The principal starts the ceremony with a speech about the hard work, persistence and dedication the students had throughout the 4 years of high school in Bryant. After that Salma El Bezzaoui said the Pledge of Allegiance. Then it was followed by the national anthem and the Byrant school’s song which was sung by Kayla Ransome.
Then after everyone, such as the awardees, family members, and other guests ate food at the main gym. The foods were macaroni and cheese, chicken, eggplant lasagna, they had halal food, and more. They also had coffee, water, and cookies as desserts.
Later on, the awards were given out:
1. Special Awards:
-President’s Award for Educational Achievement, President’s Award for Educational Excellence,
Principal’s Leadership Award, etc.
2. Senior Class Officer Awards:
-Senior Class President, Senior Class Vice President, Senior Class Secretary, and more.
3. Content Area Awards (This is where there were different categories and each had a specific award given out to the student.)
-Visual & Performing Arts, ELA/ESL Awards, Physical Education Awards, and more.

There were photo booths, where each person got their own mini strip copies. There was a huge wall where people took pictures to capture these memories and to cherish them once they leave high school.
