Senior Dinner Dance

Senior+Dinner+Dance

The Senior Dinner Dance is one of the events at Bryant High School, where seniors can get together and celebrate their last year here. It is a fun event when seniors can socialize, eat delicious food, and dance together with the loud music playing in the background.

Furthermore, for the seniors in the upcoming school year that are worried about losing any of their belongings at this event, don’t be. When we entered the school building, a staff member took all of our stuff and put it in a classroom. We were then given a ticket so they would know later on who it belonged.

The event took place in the Main Gym at 6pm, and as we went inside, a group of student photographers took our picture. There was also a photo booth centered in the front, and there was a big white sheet with the Bryant logos for the background. We never received a physical copy of the images, but they allowed us to give either a phone number or email address, and the pictures were sent within a few minutes.

Moreover, awards were also given out to the students with Mr. John as the emcee. Winners were selected by the seniors themselves as we were given a google form to vote beforehand. The senior superlative awards were “best bromance”, “best couple”, “best smile”, etc.

Afterwards, there was food provided as loud music played in the background. They were serving fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, salad, plantain, and more. Staff members also went around to give each of us cupcakes, and its frosting was either blue or yellow.

When everyone was done eating, the seniors started dancing. The music that was being played throughout the whole event was mostly pop music. Some of the songs were: “Love” by Keysha Cole, “Just Wanna Rock” by Lil Uzi Vert, and “Rich Flex” by Drake & 21 Savage, “Baby” by Justin Bieber”, “Macarena” by Los Del Río, “Corazon Sin Cara” by Prince Royce, and more.
